ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Rachel Saltzman, and I am a GIS Analyst in the Environmental Public Health section at Oregon Health Authority. My work supports efforts to improve the accessibility of environmental public health information and data equity. I hold an MS in Geography and GIS from George Washington University and a BA in Environmental Analysis and Critical Global Studies from Pitzer College.

I am interested in applying geospatial techniques to improve climate resilience, human health, environmental justice, and natural disaster mitigation and response efforts. Outside of my studies, I enjoy spending time outdoors, singing in choirs, and cheering on the Portland Trail Blazers.
